The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Ukraine Office, jointly together with the Foreign Policy Research Institute and the Centre NOMOS, organized a conference about key issues involving the Black Sea region, which took place on November 29th 2011 in Sevastopol.

 
The International Centre for Policy Studies (ICPS) participated took part in the conference, where ICPS European Focus about EU4Seas was disseminated among participants.
International experts and decision makers from Black Sea neighbouring countries as well as from the EU and the USA discussed a comprehensive notion of security in the Black Sea region, including economic, ecological and energy-related questions. The deepening of regional cooperation among the Black Sea countries was named as an important requirement to counter the challenges of the future.
