The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Ukraine Office, jointly together with the Foreign Policy Research Institute and the Centre NOMOS, organized a conference about key issues involving the Black Sea region, which took place on November 29th 2011 in Sevastopol.

| The International Centre for Policy Studies (ICPS) participated took part in the conference, where ICPS European Focus about EU4Seas was disseminated among participants. |
| International experts and decision makers from Black Sea neighbouring countries as well as from the EU and the USA discussed a comprehensive notion of security in the Black Sea region, including economic, ecological and energy-related questions. The deepening of regional cooperation among the Black Sea countries was named as an important requirement to counter the challenges of the future. |
