Riina Kaljurand, Deputy Director of the International Centre for Defence Studies in Tallinn, Estonia, and Pia Hansson, Director of the Institute of International Affairs, presented the findings of the EU4SEAS final report and hosted an open discussion on multilateralism and regional cooperation in the European Union.
Participants were invited to learn and discuss about the key findings and outputs of the project, followed by a short reception at the University of Iceland. Besides, access to further material on the EU4Seas project was provided to the participants, with the aim of bringing attention to the necessity of academic collaboration within the research community.

The event hosted government officials, representatives from the private sector with a keen interest in multilateralism, media representatives and academics (students and teachers alike) from the University of Iceland, Edinburgh University Law School and the University of Lapland.
